Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international B2B transactions, the buyer is considered the "Importer of Record." While ApparelLots handles all export documentation from China, the following applies to your local arrival:

Important Information for Buyers:

Any import duties, taxes (VAT/GST), or brokerage fees levied by your country’s customs office are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for a landed cost estimate before finalizing a large lot purchase.

Documentation: We provide a professional Commercial Invoice and Packing List with every shipment to ensure a smooth clearance process.

Order Tracking & Inspection

Once your order leaves our Hangzhou facility, a tracking number will be sent via email or WhatsApp. Every lot is photographed during the final packing stage—these "Pre-Shipment Photos" serve as your proof of quality and quantity before the goods enter the international logistics chain.

Lost or Damaged Shipments: While rare, if a shipment is lost in transit, ApparelLots will work directly with the courier to initiate a claim. We strongly recommend adding optional shipping insurance for high-value orders over $5,000.
